A typical Sydney summer Sunday

A summer sketch at Watsons Bay that was later drawn and created digitally
Swimming and splashing in the freshwater was nearly a mandatory activity for my husband and I this summer.
Living in Sydney, Australia, we are blessed with a number of beautiful bays and beaches, and a long summer to enjoy many lazy beach days.
One of our favourite spots is Camp Cove at Watsons Bay where we hop on a ferry to dip into fresh, cool water all day long.

We chilled out under a tree after a couple of swims where I sketched my husband reading his book when he leisurely waited to feel hot enough again for a dip.

After we got home that day, I experimented with taking a photo of my sketch, import it into Adobe Draw and traced my sketch to play around with colour and style.
Being new to drawing with iPad Pro, I was constantly amazed at how easy it is to change colours, size, and everything to produce something quickly!
Here are a few variations in background colours I experimented on Adobe Draw:

The same drawing with a bold blue background

The same drawing with light-grey background
