One of my dear friends had a second child so I designed this baby greeting card for them.

In a warm, feminine tone, I wanted to represent 2 daughters, mother and a father’s independence while they each complement each other as one family unit.

I played around with different compositions and settled on this final design.

It was interesting to me that without providing context and meaning behind the design, a number of people I received feedbacks from selected the final design.  Simply 4 shapes rearranged and it evoked something to the people that I sought feedback.

This design process has reaffirmed the importance of composition.
