Valentine’s Day card 2018

Sappy, cheesy, corny, pink-filled, heart explosion drenched with sugary sweetness have never been the type of Valentine’s Day card that I like.

For my first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, I reflected on what love is.

I made a list of things that my husband enjoys and it became the launchpad for the 2018 Valentine’s Day card design – love is love.

Love is not in the grand gestures but it permeates throughout life which I wanted to represent in a simple ink and colour pencil illustrated word art.
